I made this tree – it was so beautiful, but I don’t think I’ll make it again. Between cutting the fruit and placing it in the cone – it took me over 90 minutes. I used toothpicks cut in half and my thumb was absolutely obliterated by the time I finished from pushing in the toothpicks 😉 I bought a styrofoam cone from Michaels that was already wrapped in plastic, so I just removed the sticker with the price tag and description and washed the plastic wrap with soap and water, which made it so much easier as I didn’t have to wrap it in plastic wrap again. It was a hit at the party, but I’m not sure it was worth all the effort.

    1. This cracked me up! It is definitely a labor a love! Use gloves if you try it again.
