I have fond memories of my grandmother in the kitchen preparing an Easter feast while we played with cousins. I want my kids to grow up having special memories of a delicious Easter dinner, and a festive table with decorations.

When preparing for a holiday meal, I focus on three things: the menu, the table setting, and the centerpiece. For this Easter table, I used my Blue and White china, and added touches of pink to focus on a traditional Easter color.

For the centerpiece, tulips were at the top of my list, because is it Easter without tulips? I love to mix in another flower to create multiples textures and layers, and I chose green and white hydrangeas.

For my Easter Dinner Menu, I wanted to stick with traditional Easter food. Honey ham is a favorite among my family, and we love to use a honey and brown sugar marinade.

EASTER MINI CHEESECAKE DESSERT

For this simple, but amazing dessert, I purchased 8 mini cheesecakes, Lindt Chocolate Bunnies, and Easter Jelly Belly’s, and edible grass. I placed the cheesecakes in my tart dishes and added the Lindt Chocolate Bunny on top, pressing down to ensure the bunny would stay put. I then garnished with Jelly Belly’s, and finished the dessert by wrapping the bottom with edible green grass.

You must live nearby when you said the Fresh Market. It took me awhile to realize they only have groceries and no drug store items.
