Apple Cider Sangria Ingredients

This cinnamon apple cider sangria with white wine calls for just a handful of ingredients which I usually have on hand. Its easy to pull together for impromptu gatherings or your holiday events!

  • Honey Crisp Apples
  • 1 bottle Pinot Grigio (I used FitVine)
  • 12 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 4 Tbsp of Pomegranate Seeds
  • 1 Bottle of Sparkling Apple Cider

How to Make Apple Cider Sangria

When making this recipe, I start by chopping apples into 1 inch chunks.  I also love to add in about a tablespoon of pomegranate seeds per glass as well. You can eat the pomegranate seeds, they are good for you, and provide beautiful color!

After adding the first two garnishes, I add a cup of Pinot Grigio and a cup of sparkling apple cider. I love a crisp, fruity Pinot Grigio for this Apple Cider Sangria recipe, but you can use other varieties of white wine as well.

After combining the ingredients, I add three cinnamon sticks to each glass and I like to let them marinate a little bit. This allows the cinnamon to mix nicely and creates a wonderful, fall flavor that is perfect for fall entertaining!

This tasty apple cider sangria is a wonderful drink to make and enjoy on a quiet evening while curled up in front of a cozy fire.

Your Apple Cider Sangria will last up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Stored any longer, flavors will really get too strong and fruit will get mushy.

How long should you marinate Sangria?

When making a batch of apple cider sangria, you should assemble it at least 1/2 hour in advance but no longer than 2 hours for best flavor.

How to store apple cider sangria?

Store apple cider sangria in a chilled pitcher or carafe, or in an ice bucket while serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
