When I originally shared this Festive Halloween Charcuterie Board in 2019, it went viral. Since then I have created many themed boards including this mouthwatering Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board.

This fun Halloween charcuterie board is perfect for a Halloween party, a spooky movie night, or just grazing while passing out candy to trick or treaters.

What do you put on a Halloween Charcuterie Board?

Your festive Halloween charcuterie board can be salty and sweet and full of your favorite treats! Choose any and all of your Halloween favorites to mix and match on your board.

Festive Halloween charcuterie board

Charcuterie Boards are all the rage for entertaining these days. They range from simple boards with just a few treats to elaborate spreads featuring huge assortments of meats, cheeses, nuts and spreads.

You can customize them in so many ways to tailor them not only to your event but your own families’ tastes as well. I love this kids Halloween charcuterie board because the adults can enjoy it too!

Why I love this easy Halloween charcuterie board

Charcuterie Boards provide a lot of options, and people love options. They’re a great conversation starter at a party as well, and they provide a focal point for people to gather and get to know one another!

I loved assembling this Grazing Table for a Blogger’s Luncheon I hosted. It was a charcuterie board on steroids and so much fun to choose ingredients and to assemble. It was a terrific crowd pleaser!

How to assemble your fun Halloween charcuterie board

When creating your board, gather items that flow with your theme. I always purchase more than I think I need so I can fill in any necessary holes.

When picking out items for your festive Halloween charcuterie board, think about shape, color, and texture. Combining those three things will help make your Halloween charcuterie board fun and interesting for everyone!

When pulling it together, make sure to layer your items and use bowls or small trays that double as food dividers and decoration! I like to be sure that my platter or cutting board is fully covered by all my food items, so as you can see the items are placed right next to each other, almost overlapping.

Follow these easy steps and you’ll have a fun Halloween charcuterie board for your next party!

What to put on your Halloween Charcuterie Board

For this board, I gathered an array of sweets that my kids love. In addition to store-bought bags of candy like candy corn pumpkins, Reese’s Pieces and mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I also included some festive popcorn and white chocolate and pumpkin spice pretzels on this festive Halloween charcuterie board.

There are so many things you could add to your Halloween charcuterie board, from gummy rats to foil-wrapped chocolate eyeballs, popcorn balls, black licorice, Halloween colored hard candy sticks to themed cupcakes and more.

One of my other favorite fall desserts is a delicious Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cake. This cake is full of spicy-sweet goodness that we enjoy it for breakfast too. It’s great with a glass of milk or a hot mug of coffee.
