White Christmas Decoration Ideas for your Dining Room

My dining table is all decked out for our big Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas morning breakfast.

This year I wanted White Christmas decorations for our Dining Room and I decorated with white and gold throughout the house as well. I’ve collected the Noritake Crestwood Gold Christmas China over the years and love using it every year for Christmas. I am using my red stemware to add a little pop of color to the table. I found gold poinsettia placemats at Hobby Lobby, and I used my white and gold chargers. I used different sized white trees, some are fur, some are wax candles, and some are glittery trees. I love having the different heights and textures.

For the chandelier, I used fresh garland. I love the subtle pine smell it brings throughout our home. I laced a strand of pearls throughout and I love the white and gold poinsettias fixed to each light. I then hung different sized icicle ornaments that catch the light, and I hung another style of icicle ornaments as well. For the sidebar, I used our handsome white santa who is standing among gold pinecones. I love my new glittering reindeer that are so elegant. I used three white glittery trees in the corner that are different heights and I’ve displayed a very special gold church, that was my grandmother’s, on a white cake plate. I love the details that hold meaning!

On Christmas Eve, we always go to the Candle Light service at our church and my husband cooks a really nice dinner. We then let the kids open a gift which is always their Christmas pajamas, and we gather in front of the fire and read the Christmas story together. It is one of my favorite evenings of the year. On Christmas morning, I wake up extra early and make a huge spread for breakfast. I make an egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, and a french toast casserole. I hope my kids remember sitting around the table eating a huge breakfast together on Christmas morning. What are your traditions? I would love to hear them!
