Four Summery Colorful Outfits for Every Occasion

With school coming to an end and lots of fun planned as our days get warmer, I’m excited to share summery colorful outfits that will take you from a casual lunch to a fun night out, or to your upcoming summer vacation. I have styled four outfits from casual to dressy, and I hope this will give you some fun ideas for this summer!

The Promenade at Chenal is a wonderful place to shop for the entire family and offers a wide variety of stores from Women’s Fashion and Accessories to Men’s Fashion, Fine Jewelry, Children’s Fashion, Shoes, Eateries, Entertainment including an AMC Imax Movie Theater (the kids love this!). There is also an Apple Store which makes it handy to pick up the latest gadget or get help. The Promenade is definitely a destination as it gets over 1.2 million visitors a year and they host some fun events throughout the year as well. Watch their website calendar, but I know I am excited about the upcoming Memorial Day Sidewalk Sale and we might just venture out to the June 1st Love Your Dog Day!

I visited the Promenade at Chenal to check out some of my local favorite stores, and I found so many fun colorful outfits for this summer. As women, and especially as a mom, it can be easy to put ourselves last, right? But when I love my outfit, I always feel so much more confident and ready to tackle the day! Summertime brings so many fun opportunities to get outside, and to vacation, so I’m thrilled to share four outfits I styled with three of the stores you can find at the Promenade, and I think you’ll find these are obtainable fashionable options for women of every size.

The first stop was with Evereve. I LOVE Evereve because their styles cater to moms, and they’ve created a hip, friendly environment that feels more like a little retreat. I had so much fun with their staff creating these two outfits. Everyone needs these super fun Leopard Wedges and the gorgeous printed kimono top! I paired them with skinny jeans from Paige Denim and this flirty frayed cami from Cloth and Stone.

I loved adding a pop of color with the Zuma Tassel Print Ruana by Woven Heart. The turquoise beaded Be You bracelet and gold disk pendant necklace are perfect accents to complete the outfit. This outfit is fun and so comfortable for running errands and hanging with my kiddos, and I love the pop of color!

Next up is this coral jumpsuit I picked out, that you can find locally but it’s not online quite yet (coming to their site in June). I love the drape on the top and the flow of the pants. I paired the jumpsuit with these fun Urbane Cork wedges that will also go with so many of my other clothes. Since the color was really the stand out in this outfit I just paired it with simple accessories, a pretty gold Cross Over cuff and the Coin Double Tiered Necklace both by Thirty-Nine 42.

This next outfit is from Madewell. This adorable “Rainbow” ensemble is perfect for every occasion, but I know it will be in my vacation bag for sure! Madewell is known for their jeans but with the humid summers we get, I love a good flowy dress. I love that they offer a wide range of sizes too, 00-24!

The dress from Madewell is called the Rainbow Stripe but I love how subtle it is, and I love the boho vibes. It has enough color to pick up whatever accessories you want to pair with it but looks neutral which allows it to be worn so many places! I paired it with these cute slide sandals in a great medium brown color.

These sandals are super versatile and would be cute worn with jeans and shorts too! I tossed on some cute “Rainbow” and gold stretchy bracelets with enamel beads and triangles to pick up a little color. The sparkly aviators add a subtle touch of whimsy and the wide-brimmed hat also has a subtle rainbow “band”. The hat is a perfect accessory to add when heading out for a day at the park or a run to the Farmer’s Market. Overall, super fresh, fun and colorful without being over the top.

The last store I visited was J.Jill, and I put together another fun summer look that would be so fun for a tropical or beach vacation too! J.Jill offers an easy, relaxed style and they design for all sizes—misses, petite, women’s and tall. Their store, as funny as it is to say, it’s such a relaxing atmosphere! You can also find accessories and footwear there as well, and I loved working with their manager to pull together this look.

It was hard to narrow it down, but I chose this pink tunic with a fun palm print. I love the color combo and the print is perfect for summer. I’ve paired this with a fun summer bracelet and the most perfect pair of white jeans (that fit this mom of five in all the right places). Everyone needs white denim in their summer wardrobe! This outfit would be perfect for dinner out, a fun brunch with friends, or I would wear this outfit to church as well.
