Christmas Kitchen Decorating Ideas
Tips for your Christmas Kitchen Decor:
- Add a touch of decor to your lighting: If you have pendant lights like I do, hang a few sprigs of cedar garland with ribbon to add a little festivity to your lighting. I love how the ribbon drapes over my lights.
- Add a wreath or garland to your bar stools: I love having bar stools now and I added a small clump of faux garland with a red satin ribbon. I love the pop of color it brings to my white kitchen.
- Dress up the Hood Range: I’ve dressed up my hood over the range with a strand of faux garland and a gold glittery wreath.
- Decorate the countertops: I added some red berries around my favorite candle along with a few roses for another pop of color.
- Decorate the kitchen island: I always keep a fresh or faux arrangement of flowers on my kitchen island, so Christmas is no different. Add a tray, candle, and a few golden bells and I have a simple holiday vignette.
- Create a Christmas floral arrangement: I put together this winter floral arrangement of fresh cedar and pine, red roses, and white hydrangeas. It screams Christmas to me. I love the elegant of cedar and enjoy sprinkling it around my home during the holidays.
- Display holiday baked goods: Utilize a beautiful platter or glass cake dome to display holiday goodies.
- Add ribbon to food or utensil canisters: I love adding a little greenery to my food canisters to bring in another festive touch.
- Add a festive plate or cookie jar: I love my vintage gingerbread man cookie jar and advent calendar that are perfect for displaying (and using) at Christmas time.
- Add a small tree to a corner or nook in your kitchen: I added a pencil flocked tree last year and really enjoy the extra twinkle in the kitchen.
- Decorate windows with wreaths: Each year I hand wreaths on the two large windows in my kitchen and family room, and it’s a simple way to add a festive touch.
- Decorate your coffee bar area: Add holiday mugs and festive marshmallows and hot chocolate toppings to have your drink station ready to enjoy for the holidays.
These simple holiday decor touches are easy to do and add just the right amount of festivity to my kitchen. I hope these Christmas Kitchen decorating ideas give you some ideas for your own space. Keeping reading for 20+ beautiful holiday home tours!
