Soldier Nerf Gun Birthday Party

My oldest has a love for soldiers and Nerf guns, like many other boys I presume. He asked for a Soldier Nerf Gun Birthday Party for his 7th birthday. We do birthdays big around here because it’s something we all like to do together. We sit down together to begin the planning process and I love watching the kids come up with their own ideas and we search for fun ideas on pinterest as well. I was going on 9 months pregnant when this party occurred, so I didn’t make as much food or crafts as I usually do. But thankfully a trip to Hobby Lobby and a little shopping at Oriental Express helped us put together something really fun for his Soldier Nerf Gun Birthday Party.

The birthday boy wanted to be in full fledged camouflage. With his hunting gear readily available, we didn’t have to look far for his “war clothes” as he put it. We served some of his favorite snacks, juice boxes and a cake was just the right amount of food for his age group. Really all they wanted to do was have a Nerf gun war!

A SUPER FUN SOLDIER NERF GUN BIRTHDAY PARTY

We provided camouflage bandanas, extra bullets, and protective eye wear as party favors. My son decorated the table himself with the toy soldiers from his collection as well as some of the tanks and helicopters he had on hand. The guests loved getting their face painted in camouflage and they loaded up their guns to prepare for battle.

I made the invitation for this soldier Nerf Gun birthday party in the Rhonna App on my iPhone. It literally took about 10 minutes to make and I had it printed at our local Office Depot. It was probably the easiest invitation I’ve done. I was surprised at how seriously the kids took the Nerf gun war, they were sliding behind and rolling under barricades, and jumping over each other. Their participation made this all the more fun!

My husband was in in charge of the course and I thought he did a great job on building and decorating the barricades. He used on an old fence piece we had on hand and large pieces of plywood, and spray painted them green and black. He used fencing stakes to keep them sturdy
