Celebrating Easter
Easter has long been a favorite holiday and a holiday that I want to go all out to celebrate. I have fond memories of spending Easter at my beloved late grandmother’s house. I’ve shared about her before, but she was Arkansas’ Poet Laureate and incredibly talented. I remember attending a big egg hunt at her church each year in Little Rock, and then a big Easter lunch at her house. We’d have our own egg hunt out in her back yard with all the cousins. She was so crafty, she could make an elaborate Easter basket out of a milk jug! I believe I got my love for crafting and creating beautiful celebrations from her.
For the past nine years, we have hosted an Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood. We love inviting all the neighbors over to celebrate with festive treats and baskets. The kids are always eager to hunt eggs and search for the golden egg. Today, I’m excited to share gorgeous Easter Party ideas and table decorations. There are decor ideas and festive treats to provide you with inspiration for your celebration.
Easter Party Menu
Bunny Garden Cake
Bunny Cake Pops
Nest Egg Cookies
Bunny Tail Cookies
Jelly Belly Petit Fours
Sugar Cookies
This menu provides something for everyone and the colors are so festive for a party. The treats were all custom made by the Community Bakery. I’m excited that they loved my Nest Egg Cookie inspiration so much that they will be selling them as a special treat this year! Community Bakery has such an amazing selection from sweet treats, to a full coffee bar, to breakfast and lunch. I’ve been ordered birthday cakes and cookies from there for years!
Floral Ideas for Your Easter Party
Fresh flowers are often the star of any party, and this gorgeous centerpiece is no different. I looked on in awe while Chris Norwood from Tipton Hurst created the hanging centerpiece of pastel posies, including seeded eucalyptus, ‘Casa Blanca’ white roses, pink O’hara garden roses, hydrangeas, viburnum, tulips, and larkspur. My chandelier will never look the same! The centerpiece reminded me of an indoor garden, so it went so well with the whimsical naked bunny cake and the other festive treats. They also set up a creative display of flowers on the kitchen island that added to the ambiance.
My Favorite Easter Party Details
-The adorable treats that are the perfect treats for any spring or bunny-themed party.
-The gorgeous flowers that provide the perfect centerpiece for the table, and the vases of flowers on the island.
-The blush pink, floor-length tablecloth provided by Party Gras. It is the perfect color for this tablescape and adds an elegant backdrop for our party.
-The bunny decor I’ve collected over the years, and my new moss covered bunnies add some green touches to my table.
-The different heights of cake plates and platters, a detail I love to add to all of my parties.
-The gold Easter eggs we created with gold leaf, be sure to check out my easy tutorial!
