After putting away the Christmas decor, the house seems dull and drab. I love pulling out my Valentine’s Decor to add back some color, so I am excited to share these Romantic Valentine Tablescape Ideas. In addition, I am joining a group of very talented home design blogs to share inspiration for Valentine’s Day.
ROMANTIC VALENTINE TABLESCAPE IDEAS
Table of Contents
This year I wanted to mix in some casual elements and the butcher paper runner helped me do just that. I wrote valentine messages on each end with my chalk pen making this table fun and whimsical for a family celebration, Galentine’s, or Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day Floral Arrangement
I started with a glass compote dish and added a tape grid. My flowers included pink and red roses, pink hypericum berry flowers, pink snapdragon, and eucalyptus. I started with a layer of eucalyptus, and then layered the snapdragon, roses and berries, and mixed in fresh greenery as I built the arrangement. Pink vases were filled with the remaining flowers and I love the whimsical, romantic feel of the floral arrangements.
Valentine’s Table Settings
For the Valentine’s Day Table Settings, I used my favorite heart shaped “Love” plates. These were stacked on simple white plates and gold chargers and accented with gold toned flatware. For stemware, I used crystal Wedgewood glasses and fun pink and gold champagne glasses. I finished off the table setting with pink linen napkins. The other decorations on the table include my gold candle sticks with pink tapered candles, and a few glass gold votive holders.
