Star Wars Party Ideas

My son is a huge fan of Star Wars and asked for a Star Wars party to celebrate his eighth birthday. My kids love to sit down together and plan out their party together. We scroll ideas on Pinterest and think about all the details. They tell me what types of food they’d like and we plan out the decorations. I keep saying that “next year” will be their last big one, but I LOVE that they have so much fun making all the plans and helping me put things together. We scaled it back a bit for this party and it turned out to be a very simple and easy to do party, so I’m excited to share my Star Wars party ideas with you!
My son asked a group of his closest friends to come and we ended up with 14 eight-year-old boys over for a Star Wars movie night. Having that many boys in the house at once was a little more than I anticipated…haha! The boys ate the treats, they made their popcorn with the candy toppings, and they all sat down to watch the movie together. It was so fun seeing them sing Happy Birthday to my boy, we are so blessed with some wonderful friends!
Favorite Details:
-The R2D2 cake was so perfect and my son loved it!
-The Star Wars Goblets from Needzo Gifts that the kids used for their popcorn. They are ADORABLE!
-The Star Wars character tumbler cups that we used for the “Yoda Juice”. It was nice to have caps on their drinks for the movie.
-The Light Saber pretzel rods were so cute and made by simply twirling the pretzel rods in melted candy!
-I found these lightsaber suckers that light up and the boys loved them!
-I love the Storm Trooper and Darth Vader popcorn bowls.
-I put up some red, green, and blue streamers which were the perfect backdrop for the party table.
