One of the things I anticipate during the holiday season is all the peppermint and chocolate available at every turn. I LOVE peppermint and chocolate. It’s my favorite Starbucks drink, one of my favorite candies to eat… I love the coffee creamer! But if I want to stick to my health goals, I can’t indulge as often as I like. Enter this peppermint chocolate protein smoothie recipe.
If you’ve been following my journey, you know I love smoothies. Smoothies have helped me keep weight off, energize my body, and keep my nutrition value up during this busy season of life. I keep all my favorite fresh ingredients on hand or in the freezer so I can grab it, throw it in my blender, and go! So I’m super excited to share this yummy, healthy, protein recipe with you!
Now, I’m a bit of a protein snob, I guess you could say. If I’m going to spend money on something, I want to make sure I’m consuming a healthy product of great quality that has added value to my life. I’ve shared here about why I love the Plexus P96 Protein Powder. It’s quick, no-measuring (which means no fuss and less clean up) because a busy mom doesn’t need more to do! It’s cold-pressed, AND high in the vitamins I need, low calorie, sugar free, no gmo, gluten free, and ZERO artificial ingredients or coloring, which is so important to my family. Need I say more? Check out my previous post to learn more.
