Decorating with Stylish Valentine’s Day Home Decor

I love Valentine’s Day decor! My husband told me he loved me for the first time on Valentine’s Day so we love to remember that special day. In addition, adding Valentine’s decor to our home adds some color and fun after removing Christmas decor. It’s a great way to show our kids how me we love them as well.

Valentine’s Day Dinner Table Decoration Ideas

As you all know, I love a good tablescape! Planning Valentine’s Day table settings is usually my first stop. For this year’s table arrangement, I used my white and gold china and charger plates to set the stage, and I couldn’t be more in love with these new “Love” plates. I found them and bought all they had.

I used a piece of velvet fabric as a table runner. Using pretty fabric is a quick and simple way to add a pop of color to your table. For the centerpiece, I use a white urn with an arrangement of fresh pink roses. I love how the colors really pop with the white tablecloth and pink accents.

Valentine’s Day Decor for the Living Room

If you’ve seen my living room reveal, you know our living room already has blush pink accent colors.  To bring in some Valentine’s accents I added fresh white hydrangeas in pink ginger jars. I also added pink flowers around the room to give it a little more hint of pink. For the Valentine’s day mantel decorations, I kept is super simple by adding this garland. The pom pom garland has touches of gold and pink pom poms making it the perfect accent for the room. 

Valentine Decoration Ideas for the Kitchen

In the kitchen, I used the same pom pom garland to decorate my  stove hood. On the kitchen island, I’ve displayed the kids’ favorite Valentine’s candy in apothecary jars along with a pink candle. I love this new heart-shaped platter (I have the bowl too) that is perfect for fun holiday treats like these decorated heart cookies.

On the adjacent bar, I placed a simple wooden conversation heart as well as a gold XOXO sign. In my breakfast nook, I have two white vases with pink faux cherry blossom stems. I love that just a few decorative touches can go a long way to creating a festive space without too much clutter.

We have a little nook under the stairs that separates the kitchen and dining room. We use this space as a coffee bar, and I love adding Valentine’s home decor to this little space. Here it is set up for a hot chocolate station since it’s still cold here. I displayed festive pink mugs on a marble tiered stand, along with a sweet little heart shaped bowl that I can use for marshmallows.

Valentine’s Day Bedroom Decorating Ideas

Our master bedroom already had a few touches of blush pink, but I added a few Valentine’s home decor touches as well. To up the Valentine’s factor, I added a few pink throw pillows, one with gold hearts and pearl detail. I also added a pink vase to fill with fresh flowers and a pink candle.
