Rainbow Nursery Decor: Furniture
Table of Contents
When planning for this Nursery, I wanted to start with all neutral and white furniture and bring in color with the bedding, accessories and the feature wall. Delta Children is known for their savvy, chic design and quality, so it’s no surprise that one out of two children sleep on their products.
The Epic 4-in-1 Convertible Crib is JPMA certified, and easily converts to a toddler bed, daybed, and even a full size bed, so it works from infancy to adulthood. I love the sleek back panel, classic railing, and the tapered legs give this crib a chic look.

I love that the Graham Swivel Glider has buttonless tufting, but also the LiveSmart Fabric by Culp is the most durable fabric on the market and features LiveSmart technology which allows spills to bead up until you gently blot them away. Every nursery needs a glider that resists everyday messes by preventing stains and repelling moisture!
The Glider allows for reclining, rocking and relaxing with its 360-degree swivel and gliding motion, and it offers two recline positions! You can keep the seat upright and just prop up your legs or fully recline for maximum comfort.
When choosing your nursery furniture items, consider the longevity of use in the room. These items will allow this room to transition to the toddler years and beyond!

Rainbow Nursery Ideas: Rainbow Wallpaper
The Elsi Rainbow Wallpaper is a showstopper, isn’t it? I love how versatile this wallpaper is! I can see this in a playroom, a boys or girls room, and it’s certainly perfect for these Rainbow Baby Nursery Decor Ideas!
If you haven’t seen Anewall Wallpaper options before, you have to check out their site. They have so many beautiful designs, it’s difficult to choose a favorite! I love Anewall’s description of this paper, which says, “Eli is used in the Hebrew translation to describe God’s promise, similar to the promise He gave to Noah.
We chose the Wallpaper that came with adhesion “peel and stick” option for ease of install. For wallpaper novices, this makes things much easier and within an hour or two you have a beautiful feature wall. Plus it’s removable should we ever want to go a different direction in this room in the future.
Rainbow Nursery Decor: Accessories
My client initially wanted a Noah’s Ark themed nursery, so we focused in on the Rainbow element and used animals and some whimsical Ark decor items to bring her theme to life. In keeping with my neutral base for the color palette, I used an Ivory Rug from Orian Rugs and White Curtain Panels. If you’ve seen the other rooms in my home, you know I love Orian Rugs because they are durable, easy to clean and they offer gorgeous pattern options.
The large stuffed Giraffe is so fun peeking over the crib, and we placed a Rainbow Pillow in the crib that is easily removable when baby is sleeping.
We created a little relaxing nook for Baby Ruby with a sweet Cloud Pillow and Pink Shag Floor Pillow and a Seagrass Basket of soft blankets that help make every day items more accessible for Mom, but also easy to grab when the baby is big enough for curling up and reading a book.
While the glider has a reclining function, I love that the Fur Pouf Pillow brings some fun texture to the room and can easily be moved around for different uses. I placed a White Pom Pom Pillow and Zoe Hand-Knit Doll in the Glider.
If you haven’t heard of Cuddle + Kind, I love this company! We have several of their sweet dolls and I love that for every doll purchased they provide a meal to a child in need. Be sure to check out all their precious dolls, they have something for everyone.
The Gold Floor Lamp doubles as a nursing light for mom, and a little glam for the room. Above the dresser, to add some additional whimsy to the room, we have a feature wall of whimsical colorful animals frames in gold frames.
On the dresser, we added some hat boxes for a little feminine flair and Noah’s Ark Bookends with Winnie the Pooh Rainbow Books.

Simplicity is the key and it’s great that you are not pressuring your baby with too much decoration. 🙂
Good luck and a lot of love with your new baby 🙂
This is truly beautiful. I am working on putting together a llama-themed nursery. The walls are painted and the color scheme has been selected. I just have to put it all together.
