Refreshing Master Bedroom Decor Ideas for Spring

I hope you loved the spring mantel ideas I shared earlier today. I have so much spring content coming this week and over the next few weeks, and now I’m excited to share master bedroom decor ideas with you today. If you have followed my blog or Instagram for some time, you know my bedding was all white, with touches of blush pink. While I loved the look and have stored it for later use, our bedding was heavy and better suited for fall and winter. I wanted to bring in a lighter look and feel for a spring refresh in our bedroom so I used my other favorite color, blue, as the focal point and I’m so excited to share this fresh new look!

I have been looking for the perfect blue and white bedding for some time. If you’ve seen some of the rooms in my home, you know I love blue and white. I have so many blue and white dishes, serving pieces, and ginger jars that I can’t count. I started collecting them years ago so when I was considering switching out the pink accent color, I knew I would have to use blue. One of the reasons I love having white walls and a neutral palette, it is so easy to switch out colors and achieve a whole new look! So with a little bargain shopping and pulling together a few new accessories and switching out a few of my own pieces, I have a whole new bedroom.
I was originally looking for the traditional hotel bedding, but when I came across this blue scalloped duvet set, I was thrilled. I was thrilled with the design, thrilled with the color blue, and thrilled with the price point (and it’s currently on sale and you can sign up for their emails and get 25% off additionally!). Quality bedding can be pricing, so I was so excited when I found this set.
It has a set of matching sheets and I love the look of the sheets folded down to show off the scalloped edge on top of the bed. The only downside to this particular set is that the Duvet does not have any accompanying Euro Shams, at least that I could find. I was glad to find these blue 26×26 pillows that are the exact color blue, however, I will continue looking for a white euro sham that has the correct color blue detail.
I found these two blue and white floral pillows at HomeGoods and while I couldn’t find the exact sources to link, I’ve found some similar options that would be great to recreate this look (here, here and here).
I also updated my throw blanket. Many of the blankets I have in my home are a heavy fur material. I found this white blanket that will not only go perfectly with my new bedding, but it’s a lightweight waffle weave material so it’ll be perfect for this spring and summer. Even in warmer temperatures I still love to curl up in my blankets!
I also found this round, gold mirrored tray that I love to keep in this room. It’s the perfect spot for a ginger jar of fresh flowers, my latest book, and my morning coffee. By the way, can we all celebrate that it’s tulip season??? I LOVE having fresh tulips in the house and I love the pop of yellow in my room with the blue and white! Since blue is considered a neutral, it is so easy to pull in other colors!
I can’t wait for you to see the Spring Home Tour I have coming tomorrow with a group of my blogger friends. The beauty and inspo from this group will be off-the-charts. I am honored to be a part of it and can’t wait to share a few more rooms that I’ve decorated for spring. I hope you saw my easy DIY spring floral hoop wreath, stay tuned for more spring inspo coming to the blog!
If you haven’t yet, take a look at the other rooms in our home that we’ve recently finished: Kitchen, Living Room, Boys Bedroom, Toddler Bedroom, and Playroom.

Wow the decor here is absolutely sublime! I love the bed frame, gives off regality
Thank you! I had my eye on that bed for years and so glad it’s in our home!
This bedroom set is gorgeous! I love the colors you used.
Thanks so much!
I love your floral throw pillows! They’re gorgeous!
Thank you, I was so excited when I found them!
I love all of the fresh and bright colors. And I especially love that scalloped duvet, such a great detail!
Thanks so much!
Love the color those pillows bring and I am totally reminded that I am super overdue for a shopping trick to Home Goods!
HomeGoods is one of my faves!
I love this color combo! The neutrals really make the blue stand out. So pretty!
Thanks so much, it was fun to add in the blue!
This looks amazing! You certainly have a talent for this! I love how the pillows and yellow flowers bring that pop of color!
You are so kind, thank you!
I love the simplicity of white and one accent colour, although we are heading into fall down under, so I think I would add an orange, although I am not sure it would aid in sleep the way blue might. Lovely room.
Thank you! Orange flowers could be a great accent for fall!
Really love the colors that you choose. The blue and white remind me of China that we have in the south. The yellow flowers add a pop of brightness as well.
I am from the South and have collected blue and white for years!
I love the decor. You are inspiring me to refresh our bedroom a little. We are long overdo for something new.
I’m so glad to hear that! Have fun decorating!
This looks great and came together so well! I really love the small touches of the yellow tulips and white and blue China.
Thanks so much, blue and yellow go so well together!
I love the idea of refreshing our master with a few small detail changes. Also, I really like that royal blue with gold touches around. So pretty.
Thank you!! Blue is such a great color for decorating!
