SPRING HOME DECOR: LIVING ROOM
This is the first spring season in our new home, so I was really excited about bringing in some fresh new decor to change things up a bit. My home hasn’t changed much since finishing the renovation and design projects we’ve shared (Kitchen, Living Room, Boys Bedroom, Toddler Bedroom, and Playroom), so I wanted to change out some of my key accent pieces to give my home a fresh new look for spring.
One of the easiest ways to give your home a fresh new look is by switching out your accessories like vases, coffee table books, decorative boxes, candles, etc. I typically have my pink ginger jars displayed on my coffee table and I exchanged them for a few of my blue and white pieces and added a few coffee table books and I instantly had a new look in this room! I filled my vases with white hydrangeas and pink tulips, because fresh flowers always bring so much joy!
If you saw my spring mantel ideas post, you know that I used a mix of fresh and faux flowers to create a spring mantel garland. I love how it brings life to my living room and pops of color, and it was so easy to pull together!
I added some fresh flowers to my bar cart and pulled out my pink gold-rimmed champagne glasses. I simply added a white ginger jar filled with hydrangeas and I love the effect. Simple touches can make a big impact!

SPRING HOME DECOR: KITCHEN
In my kitchen, I kept things very simple. As we get closer to Easter, I’ll pull out more of my bunnies, but for now, I added lots of fresh flowers and fresh fruit to bring in some pops of color. I brought in more of my blue and white ginger jars and filled them with tulips and hydrangeas.
I’ve shared about this on Instagram, but At Home in Arkansas Magazine was at my home shooting last week for a fun entertaining feature coming up in a few weeks. One of my favorite local florists, Tipton & Hurst brought so many gorgeous flowers for the shoot. I just couldn’t resist leaving these gorgeous branches in my kitchen for as long as they last! I’ll be sharing more about this feature in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

On my breakfast table, I have a gold mirrored tray with two white ceramic bunnies and a blue and white jar of white hydrangeas and pink tulips. This little breakfast nook is one of my favorite places in our home because of all the beautiful natural light that flows in!

SPRING HOME DECOR: MASTER BEDROOM
I shared my new master bedroom refresh yesterday on the blog and I love how simply changing out the bedding, pillows, and bringing in a few decorative accessories can produce a whole new room! Blue and yellow just scream spring to me and this new bright room makes me so happy!
I may be filling this jar with yellow tulips on repeat. I love the pop of yellow against my new blue and white bedding. I’ve been collecting blue and white for years and I love using it throughout my home but hadn’t done so in my bedroom yet. I was so excited when I found this white bedding with blue detail, it really goes perfectly with some of the decor I already had.

Thank you!
I have always said how our home feels to us is how we feel as well. Your home is lovely, calm and peaceful and I bet on most days you feel the same. Homes provide a place of creativity and comfort! I love fresh flowers too! One of the things I recently added to our kitchen table is a blessing jar where we can write out our blessings and stick them in the jar to read on a day that might not be going as well as we wished. I get more compliments on my jar, and then I explain what it is, and they are going home to do the same. It is like you said simple changes can change the whole space!
I love that so much! I bought two jars to use as a blessing and prayer jar, but sadly I haven’t started them yet. This is a reminder to start now!
You have a beautiful home! I love your decor!
You are so kind, thank you!
