Healthy Breakfast Recipes for Kids
Healthy Egg Muffins are like mini omelets cooked in muffin tins. The beauty of these is the ability to choose your own ingredients which allows for custom “muffins” depending on tastes. So simple!
Peanut Butter Banana Rice Cakes are fun because the kids can make their own, or at least help arrange the fruit on top of the rice cake and peanut butter base. Delicious and nutritious and seriously couldn’t be easier!
Bacon and Egg Avocado Bake is a favorite in our house and a favorite with me because clean-up is so easy. All your favorite breakfast ingredients baked in an avocado half. YUM! If your family is as crazy about avocados as mine is, then you will want to file this recipe away for sure.
Protein Blueberry Muffins is great for making batches ahead so they are handy through the week. My kids love them for snacks as well, which is a win-win for me!! The only problem is keeping them in the house!
Smoothie Bowl Recipe is simple but a popular family choice. Chock full of yummy berries, bananas, and greek yogurt, and packing an extra punch from chia seeds, this is a seasonal favorite.
Sausage and Egg Sandwich is a twist on the classic breakfast sandwich. Zesty and filling, this is a great option for a nutritious breakfast. They are quick and easy to assemble with just a handful of ingredients.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie is a winner! It’s just like having a delicious milkshake but without the guilt. And let’s face it? What could be easier than throwing a bunch of ingredients into a blender for a quick breakfast on the run??
Easy Yogurt Parfaits. My kids LOVE to build their own by adding their favorite fruits to the yogurt and granola layers. These are a great option for summer breakfast when so many fresh fruits are available. Take a trip to the Farmer’s Market and choose your favorites!
French Toast Roll Ups are yummy and easy to make, but oozing with warm almond butter so a healthier option and packed with protein so you don’t feel guilty.
Easy Breakfast Burritos are a favorite for multiple reasons. They are tasty and easy to make and the best thing is that they hold well so you can make up a batch on the weekend for busy mornings on the run during the week. You can also freeze them! That’s a winning combo in my book!
Green Protein Smoothie is a delicious take on a healthy breakfast. Don’t let the green fool your kids! This recipe is sweet, creamy, and so yummy, with a powerful punch of vitamins, minerals, and protein for healthy, growing bodies.
Protein Pancakes take just a few minutes to whip up and cook on the griddle, but this recipe is a much healthier option that provides a protein-packed, sweet option for busy mornings.
