I hosted a fun summer luncheon recently for some of my local blogger friends. Now that we are nearing the end of our renovation process, I’m excited about being able to host more friends and family in our home. It was so fun to pull out some of my favorite tableware and serving pieces in order to create this gorgeous summer tablescape. Keep reading for all the details from the gorgeous floral centerpieces to the table settings I used.

A special thanks to Tipton & Hurst for arranging and providing the gorgeous floral centerpieces, and Party Gras for providing the linens for this summer tablescape.
As I’ve shared before in my Easter Dinner Recipes, Built-in Bookcase Decorating Ideas, and Master Bedroom Decor Ideas, I love the classic look of blue and white. It’s such a timeless combination that also works as a neutral, so it’s easy to add in accent colors like pink, green, yellow, or red. I love blue and white on my table as well and since peonies are in season, I went with pops of pink and green for this summer tablescape and I love how it all works so elegantly together!
I started by gathering my dishes, which are not a traditional “set” but coordinate because they are all blue and white. I used a white linen tablecloth from Party Gras as my base and layered my dishes starting with a scalloped white charger, topped with beautiful and classic Blue Italian Spode dinner plates. On top of those are these charming blue rimmed, scalloped salad plates from the Aerin line at Williams- Sonoma. Finally, on top is another Spode piece, my favorite tart dish.
I accompanied my dishware with Oneida silverware and sparkling crystal stemware along with a crisp white Linen Hemstitch Napkin ringed with silver and pearl beaded napkin rings. I like the sparkle these add and they coordinate well with the crystal and silverware.
My favorite part of this summer tablescape has to be the centerpieces! I was delighted to work with Tipton & Hurst on these beautiful florals. They are one of my favorite florists in Little Rock because they always have gorgeous, fresh flowers for any occasion, and their talented team can create custom pieces on a whim.
Any day I can use lush, fresh flowers in my home is a great day! I gathered a collection of blue and white vases and Ginger Jars that coordinate well together and made the arrangements of fresh flowers including luscious pink peonies, gorgeous O’Hara Roses and Stargazer Lilies really pop. The arrangements were accented with beautiful spring green Viburnum, white Hydrangeas and white delphiniums creating a full, fragrant and pretty arrangement perfect for a summer luncheon.
